Global Impacts Microschool 

The Global Impacts Microschool is a year-long interdisciplinary course with an English AP, Global Health, and Environmental Theology credit that places emphasis on gaining a multi-perspective understanding of the world we live in. Our mission is to empower the next generation of solutionaries with the courage and agency to broaden their perspectives and confront global challenges. In this comparative study, students receive an introduction to global health and environmental topics rooted in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Sion Success Outcomes. 

Students apply the design thinking framework to conduct individual research projects and create informed, sustainable solutions for change. 

During the Spring Deep Dive, this course culminates in a 10-day immersive study with The Young Conservationists at Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya. Through field research, guided game drives, and curiosity-led dialogue, students study firsthand the impacts of climate change on pastoralist communities, wildlife biodiversity, and economic stability.
