Tracy Davis Mackey GS ’84, ’88

Tracy Davis Mackey GS ’84, HS ’88, will serve as a co-chair of the search committee for the next Head of School.  Tracy is a graduate of Georgetown University and Georgetown University Law Center.  She has practiced law for over 20 years in the Kansas City area and in Washington, DC.  Her corporate and securities legal career includes both private practice at large national law firms and in-house counsel roles at Kansas City area corporations.

 

Tracy and her husband, Todd, have two sons who both attended Notre Dame de Sion Grade School.  Tracy has previously served on the Sion Alumnae Association Board of Directors, the Sion Alliance parents organization at the grade school, and currently chairs the Investment Committee of the Sion Board of Trustees.  Tracy has also been actively engaged with the Kansas City chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), serving on its Board of Directors and Secretary from 2009-2015 and as a Chancellor since 2015.

 

Tracy stated, “I am honored to serve the Sion community in this important effort.  I look forward to working closely with the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees to form a search committee that is representative of Sion’s different stakeholders.  Sion is a very special community and I am grateful to be a part of ensuring that Sion’s legacy and mission continue for generations to come.”
