Graduation Requirements & Course Sequence :

A total of twenty-six credits are required for graduation from Notre Dame de Sion High School. Specific credit totals are required in the following subject areas.  The remaining credits are earned through electives that the student takes to suit her own particular interest. ALL STUDENTS must take a minimum of 6.0 credits per year. To be on schedule for graduation, students should average 6.5 credits per year. Our Academic Advisors work with each student individually to create the best academic path that optimizes the student’s overall success and growth.

Advanced Offerings (Honors, AP, and ACCP Courses):

Sion offers Honors classes, AP courses,  and ACCP courses. AP courses  give students the opportunity to earn college credit through College Board Advanced Placement exams. AP exams are standardized tests given across the nation each May.  Based on test scores, many colleges and universities accept AP courses for credit or advanced placement. Our ACCP courses, in partnership with some of our local universities, allow students to co-enroll for college credit courses.
